Style spotting, behind the scenes and fashion dreams…

Miley Cyrus for Marc Jacobs

Yesterday it was revealed that the new face of Marc Jacobs would be none other than Miley Cyrus. A decision which has seen some controversy, the campaign images were spotted by Nylon Magazine and soon shared across the web.

This isn’t the first time that the designer has teamed up with Miley, last year she was also part of his skin cancer campaign, in which she was photographed baring all with the slogan “Protect the skin you’re in”. This campaign also saw its fair share of back lash, but it certainly got people talking and tongues wagging (which I’m sure Miley would approve of!)

Despite her usual daring and colourful look that we have become accustomed to, in the images for Marc Jacobs’ SS14 campaign, Miley rocks a more subdued expression (and quite the perfect pout!) The shots themselves, photographed by the fabulous David Sims, are dark, moody and mysterious with Miley posing in front of a darkened beach with what appears to be a dead model in the background.

Jacob’s previous celebrity models have included Helena Bonham Carter, Dakota Fanning and Victoria Beckham…so clearly he loves variety! One thing is for sure though, he always chooses women with great individual style and quirk……so Miley Cyrus couldn’t be more fitting.

Love it or hate it…I’ll let you decide…personally? I think it is perfection!
